On Our Way to Egypt
I had just been told by my partner that he had booked for us to go away to Egypt for a week next month and that I should probably find my sunglasses. I didn’t think we could afford to go anywhere but somehow he made the stretch. Hopefully he’d be able to make a small contribution to the new glasses I wanted to buy. I was sick and tired of the same pair of glasses and wanted to get a really nice pair, ones that were a little on the expensive side. I didn’t work so I had to approach him with anything to do with money, which was a bit of a pain but never the less, I was going to ask anyway. I had spotted some that looked like Gucci on a website and rather fancied the look of them. I sent the link to him in an email as a hint and hoped he might surprise me with them for my birthday which was coming up next week.
